I am privileged and honored to return as your president again and look forward to a fun and exciting year!
Recently, I attended a conference about blogging. I am not a blogger but post to Facebook and like Twitter, but don’t have the time to keep up with the constant tweeting. However, I do love to read blogs and had to cut down to my favorite five since it was too time-consuming trying to keep up with so many. A friend of mine planned the blogger’s conference, so I thought I would go along for the ride, and it was a fun ride!
It was a great opportunity for people to gather and connect on a deeper and meaningful level. The speakers I met and listened to were amazing.
I was encouraged, inspired and lifted up by the words that were spoken out
of love and experience.
There was so much diversity: blogs of all shapes and sizes, some with only five readers all the way up to over 5000 readers. They all came together and revealed that your voice is a powerful tool to reach out and make a difference.
I look forward to seeing and meeting each of you at one of our upcoming events.
